KO NEĮGALIEJI LAUKIA IŠ BAŽNYČIOS?

„Neįgaliesiems, tiek jauniems, tiek seniems, reikia ne tik pensijos, sotaus kąsnio, gero koncerto. Kaip ir visi žmonės, jie trokšta tobulėti ir augti dvasiškai. Dvasinis asmenybės augimas siejamas ne tik su proto lavinimu, literatūros skaitymu, čia ypač svarbu tikėjimo ieškojimas ir stiprinimas. Tikintis žmogus negali ir nenori būti užsidaręs su savo tikėjimu tarp keturių sienų. Jis nori bendrauti su visa tikinčiųjų bendruomene, dvasininkais, dalyvauti Mišiose, lankyti šventas vietas Lietuvoje ir užsienyje”, – taip sako Nomeda Martišiūtė, pati būdama neįgali, puikiai atskleidžianti neįgalaus žmogaus, bandančio žengti tikėjimo keliu, padėtį.
Negalių būna visokių
Į Monciškėse, tarp Šventosios ir Palangos oro uosto esančiose Lietuvos paraplegikų asociacijai priklausiančioje stovyklavietėje šiltuoju metų laiku atostogauti ir dalyvauti meno bei sporto stovyklose atvyksta judėjimo negalią turinčių žmonių iš visos Lietuvos. Ne veltui Monciškės vadinamos „neįgaliųjų rojumi“: visa stovyklavietės infrastruktūra priderinta jų reikmėms.
Labdaros paramos fondo „Fortuna Redux“ (liet. „laimė grįžta“), į kurį yra susibūrę patys neįgalieji, veikloje dvasinio ugdymo matmuo atsirado maždaug 2001-aisiais, kai būtent Monciškėse buvo organizuotas susitikimas su broliu pranciškonu Pauliumi Vaineikiu. Nuo tada fondo nariai pradėjo nuolat su juo bendrauti, rengti išvykas į šventas vietas Lietuvoje, kasmet organizuoti rekolekcijas neįgaliesiems, o 2005 m. fondas rėmė keturių neįgaliųjų piligriminę kelionę į Vokietiją – XX-ąsias Pasaulio jaunimo dienas Kelne.
Dabartinės fondo vadovės Aušrinės Packevičiūtės pasiteiravome, ko neįgalieji lauktų iš Bažnyčios. Svarstydama apie neįgaliųjų integraciją ir lygias galimybes religinėje plotmėje, „Artumos“ pašnekovė atkreipė dėmesį, kad Bažnyčia galėtų pagalvoti apie labai įvairius ir skirtingus neįgalių asmenų poreikius. „Galbūt, pavyzdžiui, regėjimo sutrikimų turintiesiems reikėtų išleisti daugiau dvasinės literatūros Brailio raštu? Galbūt pamąstyti apie gestų kalbos vertėjo paslaugas klausos sutrikimų turintiesiems? Negana įrengti pandusą ir manyti, kad dabar jau visi visų neįgaliųjų poreikiai patenkinti. Šis požiūris, kad neįgalieji yra tik tie, kurie juda neįgaliojo vežimėliu, iškreipia pačią negalios sąvoką. Juk, pvz., žmogui, kurio klausa yra labai susilpnėjusi, dalyvauti Mišiose yra daug sudėtingiau, nei sėdint neįgaliojo vežimėlyje. Klausos sutrikimo atveju negirdima, ką sako kunigas, kaip atsiliepia tikintieji, praktiškai neįmanoma atlikti išpažinties ir t. .t. Šių problemų sprendimas turėtų prasidėti abiejų pusių dialogu ir geriausio varianto paieškomis. Lietuvoje yra įvairių neįgaliųjų organizacijų, kurios galėtų atstovauti savo žmonių interesams diskusijose su Bažnyčia“, – pabrėžė Aušrinė Packevičiūtė.
Kas yra negalia?
XX. a. aštuntajame ir devintajame dešimtmečiuose Vakarų visuomenė buvo apimta pilietinių teisių, feministinių bei kitų sąjūdžių, o jų akivaizdoje neišvengiamai kilo ir neįgaliųjų judėjimas už savo teises. Šis judėjimas priešinosi negalios kamuojamųjų priespaudai visuomenės, išstumiančios juos iš tokių socialinio ir ekonominio gyvenimo sričių, kaip išsilavinimas, darbinė veikla, aprūpinimas būstu, teisė kurti šeimą ir kt.
Taip buvo išprovokuotos diskusijos, kas apkritai yra negalia. Savotiška debatų, negalios tema, sinteze galėtume laikyti 2001 m. Pasaulinės sveikatos organizacijos (PSO) dokumente „Tarptautinė funkcionalumo, neįgalumo ir sveikatos klasifikacija“ pateiktą apibūdinamą, kad negalia yra sudėtingų sąveikų tarp asmens sveikatos būklės, asmenybės savybių ir aplinkos veiksnių išdava.
Taigi aišku, kad negalia nėra tiesiog prasta sveikata. Ligonis ir neįgalusis visai ne tas pats. Neįgaliajam daug trukdžių kelianti aplinka ribos jo dalyvavimą visuomenės gyvenime. Pvz., visuomenė gali kliudyti neįgaliajam būti aktyviam, projektuodama nepritaikytus statinius, viešąjį transportą, nesuteikdama pagalbinių, negalią kompensuojančių priemonių. Palankesnė aplinka skatins neįgaliojo įsitraukimą į gyvenimą.
Todėl ir bažnytinė bendruomenės užduotis turėtų būti ne žiūrėti į neįgaliuosius kaip į ligonius, juos globoti, bet padėti jiems dalyvauti bendruomenės gyvenime, kad jie pasijustų visaverčiais jos nariais. „Parapijose dažnai organizuojamos maldos grupelės, įvairūs susitikimai ir panaši veikla. Deja, dėl patekimo į pastatą kliūčių ši veikla dažnai neprieinama judėjimo negalią turintiesiems“, – apgailestavo A. Packevičiūtė.
Bažnyčiose ne dažni svečiai
Šiuo metu Lietuvoje gyvena apie 250 tūkst. neįgaliųjų. Ir nors statistiškai kas dešimtas mūsų šalies gyventojas neįgalus, bažnyčiose, parapijų ir įvairių bendruomenių organizuojamuose renginiuose jų beveik nematyti.
„Jei kalbėtume apie judėjimo negalią turinčius asmenis, turbūt galėtume teigti, kad žmonės, judantys neįgaliojo vežimėliu, tikrai nėra dažnai matomi bažnyčioje, – samprotavo A. Packevičiūtė paklausta, kodėl neįgaliųjų nesimato maldos namuose ir krikščioniškuose renginiuose. – Tam buvo ir vis dar tebėra pagrindinė kliūtis – sudėtingas patekimas į bažnyčias. Nors ši problema tikrai sprendžiama, tačiau neretai – formaliai, nesilaikant reikalavimų: užvažiavimai (pandusai) būna per statūs, keltuvai neveikia arba jais nemokama naudotis ir pan. Be abejo, negalima teigti, kad pritaikius įvažas į bažnyčias, visi neįgalieji plūstelės į šv. Mišias. Tačiau tikėtis juos ten pamatyti, kai lauke statūs laiptai, taip pat yra beprasmiška.“
Šioms pastaboms atliepia ir popiežiaus Benedikto XVI mintis, išsakyta posinodiniame apaštališkame paraginime „Sacramentum Caritatis“:
„Ypatingas dėmesys skirtinas neįgaliesiems; jei leidžia jų būklė, krikščionių bendruomenė turi padėti jiems dalyvauti šventime kulto vietoje. Būtina pasirūpinti, kad būtų pašalintos architektūrinės kliūtys, trukdančios neįgaliesiems patekti į šventimo vietą.“ (58).
Paradoksalu, kad, pvz., Šiluvoje, kur Dievo Motinos prašoma sveikatos ir jėgų negalias patiriantiesiems bei ligoniams, be kitų žmonių pagalbos neįgaliojo vežimėliu judantys negali patekti nei į Baziliką, nei į Apsireiškimo koplyčią. Taip šventovių laiptai tampa ne keliu į Viešpaties namus, bet parodo žmogui jo negalę.
Didžiaisiais jubiliejiniais 2000-aisiais Romoje tarp daugybės renginių vyko ir Neįgaliųjų, jų šeimų narių bei globėjų jubiliejus. Popiežius Jonas Paulius II aukojo Mišias Šv. Pauliaus bazilikoje, kuri iškilmėms buvo parinkta dėl patogesnio įvažiavimo neįgaliųjų vežimėliams. Su popiežiumi Mišias koncelebravo neįgalūs juose sėdintys kunigai. Nors nuo šios įstabios šventės mus skiria dešimtmetis, tačiau jubiliejinis renginys atrodo kaip žinios, kad neįgalusis yra Bažnyčios dėmesio centre, kulminacija. Tai liudija ir jos dviejų tūkstantmečių istorija, kai už visuomenės ribų atsidūrę žmonės su negalia sulaukdavo Bažnyčios šventųjų ir kuklių jos darbininkų pagalbos.

Vatikanas pranešė neprisijungsiąs prie JTO konvencijos dėl neįgalių asmenų teisių. Tokį pareiškimą šv. Sostas mestelėjo Tarptautinės neįgaliųjų dienos proga. Beje, šiai konvencijai JTO Generalinė asamblėja pritarė dar 2006 metais.
Vatikaną „įžeidė“ 23 ir 25 Konvencijos straipsniai. Vatikano manymu, neįgalieji negali turėti kokių nors teisių šeimos planavimo, lytinio švietimo srityse. Siaubą Vatikanui kelia ir 25 straipsnyje numatytos medicininės „seksualinės ir reprodukcinės sveikatos paslaugos“.
